Star Groups

This is a Group Lesson for skaters with CanSkate Badge 5 passed or higher that want to learn jumps, spins, and other figure skating skills.  The program is led by highly qualifed SkateCanada Coaches and offers a fun environment for skaters.  Skaters are encouraged to participate in one Competition during the season (competition fee to be paid by the skater). 
To progress more quickly, many skaters supplement the Group lessons with Private Lessons (see StarSkate tab for more information).

Lakeshore Star Groups Skate Program

The Star Group program includes all coaching fees, except for any additional fees for competitions and/or private lessons. It is highly recommend that skaters supplement their group lessons with private or semi-private lessons in order to advance more quickly. Please see the Star Skate program & Registration form for more details on how to arrange for private lessons. Skaters must have figure skates and be dressed appropriately for their group lessons in leggings and/or skating skirt and track pants/loose pants (no jeans) and jacket for boys. Club Jackets and leggings are not included in the cost of the program but are available for purchase at in-person Registration days or at the first day of class.
